Services Offered

Tehama County is a “Dependent” county for the CCS program, that means we do not approve or deny requests, we serve as a liaison between the providers/families and the state. We send all requests to the state for review and determination. We enroll clients into the program, process Service Authorization Requests submitted by CCS providers, and provide families with medical care coordination to help the children attend specialist appointments out of the area. We also work closely with area schools and operate a Medical Therapy Program which provides Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy services to qualifying clients at the Medical Therapy Unit located at Vista Preparatory Academy.
