Announcing
a new prescription program
for residents of Tehama County
In
June, 2012, the County Board of Supervisors approved
the Coast2CoastRX Public Benefits Program in Tehama
County. This allows residents’ access to the
discount prescription program which increases access
to affordable healthcare. Some benefits to the program
are: Individuals or families can use the program; no
health restrictions; no fee charged for the card; covers
medications not covered in health plans. For more information,

MENTAL
HEALTH DIVISION:
Mental Health serves any person in crisis, because of mental
health problems, adults with serious and persistent mental
disorder, and children (up to 18) with serious emotional
disability or who are at risk of not making appropriate developmental
progress because of emotional problems.

DIVISION:
The Drug & Alcohol division provides drug and alcohol
education, prevention, and treatment services for all ages
and is responsible for the operation and oversight of treatment
and recovery programs.

OUTPATIENT
CLINIC:
This Rural Health Clinic provides primary care services for
individuals who lack access to services due to economic or
social barriers. Family practice physicians, physician assistants,
nurse practitioners, and medical support staff offer a full
range of quality services to patients of all ages.

HEALTH DIVISION:
Public Health’s mission is to protect and promote health,
and to prevent disease and injury in the local community.
Public Health provides a broad range of health services including
public health nursing, supplemental nutrition program for

disease control, and disaster preparedness and response.
