Emergency Preparedness

Our local Public Health departments play a key role in achieving nationwide health security when a natural or manmade disaster strikes! Tehama County Public Health works with community partners to help prepare residents in developing plans, offering trainings and response exercises, and by lending support in the recovery process afterwards. The Tehama County Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator (MHOAC) Program
MHOAC Notification Procedure – If an unusual event or emergency occurs, please notify the MHOAC Program by phone at 530-529-7900 or by cell phone to one of the designated MHOACs. After notifying the MHOAC complete a Situation Report (SitRep) and Resource Request, as applicable, and email or fax it to the MHOAC.
