Healthy Eating, Active Living

Making healthy food choices and being physically active can start early in life.  When these habits are instilled in our children early, studies have shown that they will last a lifetime. Leading a healthy active lifestyle can be fun for the whole family.

Activities like playing soccer, going for a hike and playing at the park are an inexpensive way to help both adults and children meet their daily physical activity requirements. Making healthy choices over a lifetime, reduces the risk of developing chronic diseases later in life, such as heart disease and cancer. Our goal is to collaborate with community partners to help promote active living and healthy eating and create environments supportive of living a healthy lifestyle.
