Mental
Health Division
Overview
|
| The
Mental Health Division serves residents of Tehama County
who are experiencing emotional problems, including depression
and anxiety, or more serious illnesses such as schizophrenia
and bipolar disorder. We serve any person in crisis because
of mental health problems, adults with serious and persistent
mental disorders, and children (up to age 18) with serious
emotional disability or who are at risk of not making
appropriate developmental progress because of emotional
problems. |
|
| |
|
“Our
Mission is to promote the mental health of the
people of Tehama County.”
|
| Mental
Health is committed to providing services that are recovery
based, utilizing practices that are individualized, culturally
appropriate and focus on positive outcomes. Mental Health
Services Act (MHSA) programs are in development to further
these goals. |
