County Medical Services Program

Mission

Tehama County Health Services Agency, along with the help of our community partners, work to assist qualifying residents who are seeking health insurance coverage. We look forward to linking participants to necessary wellness resources, while promoting timely delivery of medical and support services. We work together to shift our community focus to prevention and self-care.

Services

Whole Person Care is an integrated system to link the County Medical Services Program and Medi-Cal beneficiaries to necessary health and human services, such as behavioral health and substance use recovery counseling. Individuals must be willing to enroll in an insurance program and establish a primary care provider to become participants.

Whole person care is an client-centered approach with a goal of creating healthy balance by addressing the needs of individuals. These needs may include physical health, behavioral health, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, dental care, housing, and employment stability.

Whole person care means working in collaboration with community partners to strengthen our ability to achieve healthy outcomes for participants.
